From 2 to 30 June 2021, the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” is waiting for visitors in the exhibition hall for the art exhibition of works by Vladimir Komarov, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, a chief researcher at the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems JINR.

Vladimir Ivanovich has dedicated almost 65 years to science: he worked at the synchrocyclotron, took part in the creation of the medical proton complex, conducted research at facilities in Protvino and Julich (Germany), participated in experiments at the CERN accelerator (Switzerland) and many other projects.

Painting has always remained a hobby for Vladimir Ivanovich. He was making sketches and drowning caricatures in his student years. Then he mastered oil painting to draw studies, landscapes and portraits.

The exhibition will show the retrospective of the artist’s works.

Working hours: daily from 3 to 7 PM.
