On 19 April 2023, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites you to the next seminar that will take place at the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Dmitry Ponkin (a VBLHEP senior engineer) will deliver a report “Electronics of the NICA Injection Complex”.

Dmitry speaks about the seminar, “The VBLHEP injection complex is part of the NICA Accelerator System, where a beam of charged particles is formed, transported, and accelerated in a linear accelerator. Having received the necessary energy, the beam can be injected into a cyclic accelerator for further acceleration or used in experiments at applied channels with a target. The injection complex includes charged particles sources (ions, protons, deuterons), as well as transport channels and linear accelerators. The report is about the description of the processes of development and implementation of special control, measuring, and high-voltage electronics for facilities of the NICA Injection Complex”.

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
