On 15 March 2023, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR invites you to the next seminar that will take place in the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side).

Valery Lebedev (VBLHEP Deputy Head of the Accelerator Department for Scientific Work) will deliver a report “NICA and development of its injection complex”.

Valery Lebedev speaks about the seminar, “We will begin from a short review of hadron colliders, the principles of their operation, and importance of the injector complex in the entire collider accelerator complex. Then we will consider challenges of the NICA Collider and its injection complex. Finally, we will review the results of the recent Run of the NICA Accelerator Complex carried out from October 2022 to the beginning of February 2023. In particular, we will go over the problems we have encountered and the ways to achieve the required growth of the injection complex productivity”.

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
