On 1 January 2021, an outstanding physicist, a world-known expert in quantum field theory and elementary particle physics, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor, Chief Researcher of the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of JINR Anatoli Vasilievich Efremov passed away after a lengthy battle with a severe illness.
