“Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” (1966): The film is based on the play by Edward Albee, it was one of the last Old Hollywood’s movies, and one of the reasons to cancel the Hays Code, the ethical code of American film producers.
The movie shows the difficulties of a middle-aged couple’s marriage, Martha and George. At night, after the university teachers’ party, they accept guests. A young couple, Nick and Honey, find themselves involved in a bitter and full of disappointments relationship of the hosts.
