Exhibition “Flowers and patterns”

On 6 April 2018, at 1:00 PM, the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” invites to the opening of the exhibition “Flowers and patterns”. The exhibition will present kerchiefs and shawls produced by the “Pavlovsky Posad Factory of Kerchiefs”. The history of images of kerchiefs from the 19th century to our days will be presented. The factory has been operating more than 220 years, and now it is the only producer of kerchiefs in Russia. Shawls with paintings by Zlata Olyshevskaya, Ekaterina Regunova, Klara Zinovieva, Irina Dadonova and Galina Sotskaya will be exhibited.
Leading painters of the factory Elena Zhukova, Valeria Fadeeva, Elena Favoritova will arrive at the exhibition opening. They will tell the audience about creative and production process, history of some paintings, names of shawls and respond to the visitors’ questions.
