Grigory Trubnikov received Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” of 4th class

On 11 February 2026, by decree of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Grigory Trubnikov was awarded the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”.
“For his significant contribution to the development of science and many years of fruitful work, Grigory Vladimirovich Trubnikov, Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research is to receive the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of 4th class,” the decree says, posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
The multinational JINR team congratulates Grigory Vladimirovich on receiving one of the highest awards of the Russian Federation and wishes him new achievements for the benefit of science and the development of international scientific and technological cooperation!
The Order of Merit for the Fatherland is a state award of the Russian Federation.
It is intended to reward citizens for particularly outstanding contributions to strengthening the Russian statehood, the socio-economic advancement of the country, research activities, the development of culture and art, outstanding sports achievements, strengthening peace, friendship, and cooperation between peoples, and for significant contributions to strengthening the country’s defence capability.
