Independence Day of Vietnam
Organization, 02 September 2025
On 2 September, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a JINR Member State, celebrates the Independence Day.
The JINR–Vietnam cooperation is actively expanding in both fundamental and applied research, along with personnel training. The Institute’s employees are involved in developing the project of a national accelerator complex and instruments for a research reactor in Vietnam.
Vietnamese scientists participate in research on 10 topics of the JINR Topical Plan, including the fundamental interactions of fields and particles, neutron nuclear physics, and superheavy element synthesis and research. Joint work is underway in radiobiology, radiation materials science, nanotechnology, biomedical applications of heavy ion beams, and optical methods in condensed matter studies.
The Institute’s Directorate congratulates Vietnamese colleagues on the Independence Day and wishes them good health, well-being, successful work, scientific achievements, and discoveries for the benefit of science and progress!
