The JINR Universal Public Library invites everyone interested to the “JINR Legendary Machines. Synchrocyclotron” lecture. This is the second of the two lectures about the first JINR Basic Facilities dedicated to the JINR Foundation Day.
The speaker is Semyon Gursky, Researcher of the Scientific and Experimental Department of New Accelerators of DLNP at JINR. He will talk about the history of the creation of the first accelerator and the scientists who developed it, about the structure of the machine and its significance for the development of high-energy physics, as well as about the current research at DLNP accelerators.
