JINR received certificates of state registration of software

The Innovations and Intellectual Property Department of JINR announces that on 14 June 2023 the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research has received two certificates of state registration for the software “Program for processing and visualisation of information on the state of magnetic optics in the measuring pavilion” and the “Program for remote monitoring of warm magnet protections activation in the experimental hall”.

  1. “Program for processing and visualisation of information on the state of magnetic optics in the measuring pavilion”

    The program is designed to process information on operation of magnetic optics in the measuring pavilion at the accelerator during physical experiments in real time. The program processes information about the status of the protection modules of the magnetic optics elements, which makes it possible to remotely monitor the activation of the protectors used in the beam transfer from the accelerator to the magnets of the experimental hall. The program provides control of the availability if elements, diagnostics of signal collection units. The program graphically displays information on the control panel of the employee on duty, transmits information to the local network, and performs digital data transfer to the general dispatch system.

  2. “Program for remote monitoring of warm magnet protections activation in the experimental hall”

    The program is designed to collect information from the protection modules of the electronics enclosure and transmit information to the control panel of the employee on duty. The program checks the detectors of the protection modules in real time. The program provides protection of magnets from overloads in several parameters and allows maintaining the correct operation of magnets at the accelerator during complex physical experiments. The program displays information on the monitors and allows its analysis.
