Jubilee concert of Svetlana Bezrodnaya and “Vivaldi orchestra”

On 19 January 2019, at 6:00 PM, the JINR Cultural Centre “Mir” invites to the jubilee concert of the People’s Artist of Russia Svetlana Bezrodnaya and the Russian State Academic Chamber “Vivaldi Orchestra”.

The only female string orchestra established in 1989 by Svetlana Bezrodnaya, a famous violin player and renowned teacher, will celebrate the 30th jubilee. About 3000 concerts were provided by the band. The leader of the orchestra formed the unique repertoire of more than 1000 works by composers of various epochs and fields – starting from early Barocco and ending with Russian and foreign avant-garde. Moreover, the orchestra includes in its programmes classics of songs, city romantic songs, operetta as well as the brightest performances from the repertoire of dance and jazz bands of 20 – 50th of XX century. The first part of the concert will include fragments of various classical programmes of the orchestra, named as popular classics in versions by Svetlana Bezrodnaya: works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Bizet, Shchedrin, Sibelius, Kreisler, Gershwin, Chaplin and many others. In the second part, the orchestra will perform works from repertoires of famous dance and jazz bands of the middle of XX century. The soloist of the orchestra (and the guide of the concert) is Sergei Polyansky. He will perform works that have made Leonid Utesov, Petr Leshchenko, Vladimir Bunchikov and others famous.
