On 11–13 July, Mongolia, a Member State of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, celebrates its most important national holiday, Naadam.

Mongolia has been a JINR Member State since the Institute’s foundation. For more than half a century, the country’s scientists have been playing a significant role in the Institute’s activities. Mongolian researchers are involved in work on 11 topics of the JINR Topical Plan on all major scientific directions.

On 27 March, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of Mongolia at JINR, Senior Officer of the Executive Office of the Nuclear Energy Commission of the Government of Mongolia Suren Davaa and Director of the Nuclear Research Centre at the National University of Mongolia Byambajav Munkhbat visited the Joint Institute.
