Abstract:

We study BPS domain walls of massive K\”{a}hler non-linear sigma model on Sp(N)/U(N). We construct domain walls using the moduli matrix formalism in the nonlinear sigma model on hermitian symmetric space. Domain walls can be at least of three kinds, namely, elementary, compressed and penetrable ones. In the framework of moduli matrix approach elementary walls, connecting two nearest vacua, are labeled by the simple roots of Sp(N), while compressed walls are related to the linear combinations of simple roots. In the case of non-Abelian theories domain walls can pass through each other and are called penetrable ones. We consider both Abelian and non-Abelian cases and observe penetrable walls.
