November 12, Dubna, JINR. Xavier Reymond, the Scientific Advisor International Organizations Research of State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI, accompanied by Andrey Melnikov Science and Technology Officer of the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow, and Juli Bachtold, the Senior Counselor of the Trade Department of the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow, paid a working visit to Dubna.

The delegation was welcomed in the Laboratory of nuclear reactions and the Laboratory of high energy physics by A.V.Karpov and D.V.Peshekhonov who acquainted the guests with the Synchrocyclotron complex and a building site of the NICA project.

After the excursion, the Swiss delegation was welcomed at the JINR Directorate by R.Lednicky along with D.V.Kamanin and A.G.Olshevsky. Despite the fact that cooperation with Switzerland has a very long-term history, this was a reconnaissance visit  for Mr. Reymond and Mrs. Beachtold. The guests were acquainted with the main directions of research and activities of JINR. An opportunity and terms of carrying out "Days of JINR in Switzerland" in the frames of festive events devoted to the 60th Anniversary of JINR were discussed.
