A large-scale project, the computational grid center of level 1 (Tier 1) for the CMS experiment, is currently being implemented at LIT JINR. On March 25, the eve of the JINR Foundation Day, the JINR CMS Tier1 prototype was registered at the CMS global grid infrastructure and comprehensive testing procedure has been initiated.
