From 17 to 21 October 2026, Tashkent will host the 30th International AYSS-2026 Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists. Students, researchers, and specialists under 36 from all over the world are welcome to participate. The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of foundation of the scientific centres that organize the conference – the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research and the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In addition, 2026 will mark the 30th anniversary of the AYSS Conference, a key JINR event held for many years. The conference provides young people with the opportunity to exchange ideas and establish valuable professional connections.

The AYSS-2026 topics are:

• theoretical physics,
• particle and high energy heavy-ion physics,
• condensed matter physics,
• nuclear physics,
• instruments and methods of experimental physics,
• accelerator technologies and neutron sources,
• information technologies,
• applied innovation activities,
• radiation research in life science.

Registration is open until 8 May. Please note that the number of participants is limited. The working languages are English and Russian
