Following Russian President Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko issued a decree about the celebration of the centenary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, physicist-theorist and the founder of JINR scientific school Nikolay Bogoliubov. Celebrations devoted to N. Bogolyubov will be held in Ukraine during 2009 year. Scientific conferences, round-table discussions and the mobile exhibition, devoted to his life and scientific activity, will be held  from May to September 2009. The Ukrainian mass media will cover the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Nikolay Bogolyubov.
