Seminar topic: “Process e+e −> l+l(μ,τ) with longitudinal polarization”

Speaker: Yahor Dydyshka

Abstract:

We present complete one-loop electroweak radiative corrections for the process e+e −> l+l(μ,τ) with arbitrary polarization in the ARIeL project. Because of exact treating of all particle masses, we obtain predictions equally applicable in the wide range of energy and in arbitrary regions of phase space volume, including extremal ones.

With the ReneSANCe Monte-Carlo generator, we estimate longitudinal polarization effects for the future CLIC, ILC, FCC-ee, CEPC experiments, as well as for the Super charm-tau factory in Novosibirsk.

We investigate the possibility to apply our modules for the crossed channel i.e. for the μe→μe scattering. These precision calculations are necessary for the MUonE fixed-target experiment of the “Muon-electron scattering collaboration” at CERN.
