The purpose of this work is to design, construct and test a complex of systems in order to improve the quality of proton radiation therapy and to implement these systems in machine codes, namely:
- A treatment planning system for simulation of proton radiotherapy;
- Methods for calculating and manufacturing individual devices to form gradients of a dose field;
- A hardware and software complex for quality control of forming devices being manufactured;
- A hardware and software complex for verifying the position of the patient in a proton radiation therapy session.
A phantom test of the created systems was carried out. The experiment included therapeutic planning, manufacturing of forming units, verification and subsequent processing of experimental data for qualitative and quantitative analyses.
