Congratulations on the Day of Russian Science

News, 07 February 2020

On behalf of the Directorate of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, I congratulate the JINR staff on the Day of Russian Science!

We are proud of the achievements and discoveries of outstanding scientists who have made and are making a huge and invaluable contribution to the development of science and education in the Russian Federation.

Today, it is a special pleasure to note that JINR specialists actively work on priority fields and objects of the Seven-year Plan pf the Institute’s development for 2017 – 2023. It includes the implementation of the NICA mega-science project, bringing in to operation of the unique scientific complex “Superheavy Element Factory”, the development of the Baikal-GVD neutrino telescope, new important results in the theoretical physics, including those related to experimental studies, as well as the launch of the second version of the supercomputer “Govorun”.

The Russian Federation and other JINR Member States greatly support the activities of our Institute. Thanks to this support, we have achieved financial and economic stability in recent years that allowed us to fully implement the ambitious creative plans and objectives of the Seven-Year Plan for the development of JINR. It is not a coincidence that we noted the past year 2019 as the most successful in the JINR history.

Dear colleagues, I wish you good health, welfare, career success and new creative achievements!
