On 8, 9, 10 and 11 February 2016, the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, the Dubna International Advanced School of Theoretical Physics (DIAS-TH) and the State University “Dubna” (Department of Fundamental Problems in Microworld Physics) organized a cours of lectures «Elements of QFT in Curved Space-Time» Ilya L. Shapiro (Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, MG, Brazil).

Theme of the lecture #3: Conformal anomaly and anomaly-induced effective action. Ambiguities of effective action. Applications:
1) Classification of quantum vacuum states on black hole background.
2) Starobinsky model and its modifications.
