On 6 December, the JINR Science and Technology Library opens a literature exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of a world-famous Russian physicist, an organizer of science and a public figure, Director of JINR from 2012 to 2020, Scientific Leader of JINR, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Victor Anatolievich Matveev.

The exhibition will present about 100 scientific papers by Victor Anatolievich (journal and book articles, reports made at conferences and meetings, books, preprints) starting with the earliest publications of 1965 written jointly with N. N. Bogoliubov, B. V. Struminsky, A. N. Tavkhelidze, R. M. Muradyan, and others. Then, there will be publications about the scientific work of V. A. Matveev as the Deputy Director and the Director of the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 1987. Publications written by him at the post of the JINR Director take a special place at the exhibition. They are devoted to the implementation of the unique and ambitious programme of JINR development, construction and development of new facilities, and megascience complexes. The exhibition will also present collections, journal articles, and book articles about the scientific work of Victor Anatolievich Matveev.
