On 25 March 2019, the literature exhibition devoted to the 63rd anniversary of JINR foundation will be opened in the JINR Science and Technology Library.

The Library will exhibit the Convention on the JINR establishment published in the “Pravda” newspaper on 12 July 1956, the Charter of JINR affirmed at the first session of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiary Representatives on 23 September 1956 as well as the Agreement between the RF Government and JINR on placement and conditions of JINR activities in RF that was ratified in December 1999.

Moreover, the exhibition will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the key direction of the Institute’s activities – the NICA project. The project is aimed to study interactions of high-energy heavy ions using the Multi-Purpose Detector MPD.
