“In touch” at Blokhinka

On 11 February 2023, at 6:00 PM, the JINR Universal Public Library “Blokhinka” invites teens from 14 to 16 years old to the first meeting of the “In touch” project.

“In touch” is a joint project of the JINR Universal Public Library and the Museum of History of Science and Technology of JINR on organizing an exhibition on the way different communications developed, including the Internet, wires, bridges, roads, transport, etc., and about which scientists contributed to the way we live in a modern world. The “Future” foundation initiated the launch of the exhibition.

Participants of the project will enjoy:

  • team of like-minded people,
  • co-authorship in organization of the exhibition,
  • trip to the Museum of Modern Art and visit to the closed JINR sites,
  • working together with curators and communication professionals,
  • research and interviews,
  • opportunity to work with a museum collection including items unavailable to visitors.

You are welcome if you are ready to:

  • come up with creative ideas,
  • boost your skills and learn from specialists,
  • learn to present yourself and influence the emotions of the others,
  • try something new,
  • take an interest in history of ideas, science, and technology,
  • arrange the exhibition with items, audio, photo, video, and light.
