The mission of RIEPL is to organise a current methodological and analytical base for federal executive bodies to make management decisions. JINR Chief Scientific Secretary Sergey Nedelko presented the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research at the event. In his speech, he stressed what a difficult field of activity RIEPL is engaged in. “The science organisation is a very complicated matter: it needs to unite the three words in the Institute title: Economics, Law, Politics”, said Sergey Nedelko. – “And not just three words, but also those people who do this scientific work. Scientists, if they are good, are people with a certain type of personality. Science is a very unusual field of activity in general. If a factory has established conveyors and produces something, then it produces something of the same type. As for science, uniqueness is important, first of all. The most difficult task in the science organisation is to measure the result of scientific activity.

There is a revolutionary rapid development of the scientific and technical spheres in Russia nowadays. Russia is very lucky to have such an institute as RIEPL, which has finally reached “middle age”. Being an international intergovernmental organisation, our Institute with the Head of your International Scientific and Technical Cooperation have discovered a dozen interesting topics for scientific work. On behalf of JINR Director Grigory Vladimirovich Trubnikov and all those colleagues we met at our institute, we congratulate RIEPL with its anniversary and housewarming!”, he concluded.

RIEPL Director, Doctor of Economics Irina Ilyina, in turn, expressed gratitude to Grigory Trubnikov for his assistance in solving the most important issues for the RIEPP organisation work when he was the Deputy Minister of Science and Education of the Russian Federation.

Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property Yury Zubov, Vice-President of «Opora Russia», Chairman of the Public Council at Rospatent Natalia Zolotykh, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development and Finance of the Government of the Russian Federation Timur Bronitsky, Adviser to the Director of the Russian Scientific Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage named after D.Likhachev (Moscow) Sergey Zhitenev, Deputy Head of the Butyrsky District of Moscow Nadezhda Shklovskaya, MSU Vice-Rector Oleg Karasev, President of the Polytechnic Museum Boris Saltykov, representatives of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property congratulated RIEPL with its anniversary.

At the RIEPL Scientific Council participants discussed the change in the body of the council, the result of its activities, and the key intermediate results of the RIEPP departments’ performance.
