On 20 January 2019, Advisor to Directorate of the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Rresearch, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Vladimir Stepanovich Buttsev turns 80.

20th January also marks the 80th anniversary of Leonid Grigorievich Tkachev, Head of the Astrophysics Sector of the Scientific and Experimental Department of Particle Physics of the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Rresearch.
