The International Student Practice at JINR for 29 students from The Republic of South Africa is started

The International Student Practice at JINR for 29 students from The Republic of South Africa is started on September 7. This is the fourth visit of South Africa students, the first held in December 2007. Department of Science and Technology of the Republic of South Africa performed a big work to preselect the participants of the practice.

The level of students are from bachelor to PhD student and they are came from 11 different institutions: University of Cape Town, iThemba LABS, University of Zululand, Stellenbosch University, University of the Western Cape, Walter Sisulu University, University of Venda, University of Fort Hare, UNISA, University of South Africa, University of KwaZulu-Natal. The Education officers Dr. Jacobs (SUN) and Dr. Lekala (UNISA) arrive to Dubna as supervisors of the South Africa students.

The program of practice includes lectures and excursions to the laboratories of the Institute, allowing students to meet the main directions of the JINR researches. Main time of the practice is devoted to the implementation of educational research projects in different laboratories of the Institute. Practice will last until September 23 and among results of the Practice should be involving of  the South Africa young scientists to the JINR research teams.
