JINR Chief Engineer G.D. Shirkov and JINR Directorate Advisor P.N.Bogolubov took part in a grand meeting dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Academician N.N.Bogoliubov.

The meeting was organized in Sofia by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), the St. Climent Ohridski University of Sofia, the Union of Physicists of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency. The meeting programme included talks of Academician I.Todorov, Professor N.Tonchev, BAS Corresponding Member Ch.Stoyanov, G.D. Shirkov and P.N.Bogolubov. G.D. Shirkov met with the Plenipotentiary of the Bulgarian Government L.Kostov, Professor M.Mateev and Professor Ch.Stoyanov and discussed issues of cooperation development.
