News, 26 November 2020

On 25 November, chief researcher of the RAS Institute for Nuclear Research (INR RAS), Member of the JINR Scientific Council Valery Anatolievich Rubakov delivered a lecture “Hard job of starting the Universe” in the frames of the virtual Theoretical Physics Symposium 2020.

The event was organized to celebrate the award of the Hamburg Prize for Theoretical Physics 2020, the most prestigious award in the fields of theoretical physics, to Valery Rubakov. The highest award was presented to Valery Rubakov in July 2020 and an in-person awarding ceremony was supposed to take place in November in Hamburg. However, organizers had to postpone it for the next year because of the unfavourable epidemiological situation. Nevertheless, organizers decided to hold the Theoretical Physics Symposium 2020 to congratulate Valery Rubakov and highlight his achievements.

We kindly invite you to hear the lecture by Academician Valery Rubakov delivered at the Theoretical Physics Symposium 2020 on the origins of our Universe. The speaker also noted in his lecture studies at the NICA collider of JINR that could contribute to unlocking the secrets of the Universe. The record of the lecture is published on the channel “Scientific Russia”.
