Programme of the 62nd PAC CMP meeting
PAC CMP Chair of the Dénes Lajos Nagy will start the event with a talk on the implementation of the previous Committee meeting recommendations. JINR Vice-Director Latchesar Kostov will speak about the Resolution of the 138th session of the Scientific Council (September 2025) and the decisions of the Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR Member States (December 2025).
The first results of the resumption of the user programme of the IBR-2 Reactor will be presented by Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the Laboratory of Neutron Physics Bagdaulet Mukhametuly. Head of the FLNP Scientific and Experimental Department of Neutron Research in Condensed Matter Denis Kozlenko will discuss plans for the development of the IBR-2 Reactor’s spectrometer complex in 2026-2030. The progress and ongoing development of the BJN Instrument at the IBR-2 Reactor will be presented by an FLNP leading researcher Evgeny Goremychkin.
The first day’s scientific programme will include talks by JINR employees: “A rigorous theory of diffraction by bulk and surface-relief gratings” (Maxim Zakharov, FLNP) and “Tardigrade protein Dsup as a basis for developing radioprotectors” (Mikhail Zarubin, DLNP).
On the second day of the meeting, the PAC members will meet with the JINR Directorate. Nguyen Vu Minh Trung will deliver a scientific talk on positron annihilation spectroscopy at the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems. A section of the programme will be devoted to presentations by young researchers in condensed matter physics. The winners of the previous poster session will be awarded.
