JINR employees, co-authors of the new “Physics 7–9. Engineers of the Future” teaching learning materials held three webinars devoted to the new academic year, attended by over a thousand physics teachers from different regions of Russia. The webinars were organized by the Prosveshcheniye Publishing House.

The “Physics 7–9. Engineers of the Future” textbook is included in the federal list of textbooks of the Russian Federation, and it was widely used in engineering classes of schools and lyceums in various regions of Russia last academic year. The authors of the book are Victoria Belaga, Natalia Vorontsova, Ivan Lomachenkov, and Yuri Panebrattsev.

On 27 August, Professor Yuri Panebrattsev gave a talk at a plenary session of the All-Russian Congress of Physics Teachers, which took place at the Sirius Educational Centre. About 350 people participated in the congress. The presentation included news on the progress of the “Physics 7–9. Engineers of the Future” TLM website development and new materials for teachers, including a physics practicum.
