AYSS seminar at JINR Scientists’ Club
Seminars
On 4 March 2026, at 4:00 PM, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists at JINR invites everyone interested to the next seminar that will take place in the Big Hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6 Joliot-Curie St, left side).
A DLNP junior researcher Ivan Suslov will deliver a presentation titled “Organic scintillators, a convenient experimental physics tool”.
The seminar is devoted to the development of the scintillation method – one of the most important methods for detecting ionising radiation. What are scintillators? What scintillator types are there? How have they helped, are helping, and will help experimental physicists solve problems? From Rutherford’s discoveries to the present day.
