The XFitter (HERAFitter) Workshop “PDFs for Standard Model and beyond” will be held on 18-20 February 2016 in the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems (JINR).

Abstract

An accurate knowledge of the Parton Distribution Functions (PDF) plays a critical role for the precision tests of the Standard Model (SM) and substantially impacts the theory predictions for high-energy new physics.

The xFitter project provides a unique collection of tools for the determination of the proton’s PDFs and for the interpretation of the physics analyses in the context of QCD. The external meeting in JINR is organized to bring together users and developers of the project, to discuss new features and requirements from the experiment and theory points of view.
