Independence Day of Republic of Belarus

Organization, 03 July 2025

3 July marks the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus, a Member State of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.

Scientists of the Republic of Belarus and the Institute are cooperating on 26 topics of the JINR Topical Plan. Collaborative research and development includes the construction and modernisation of the Institute’s main facilities, theoretical physics, particle physics, nuclear physics, condensed matter physics, radiobiology, IT, and personnel training. The industrial potential of Belarus provides a vital contribution to joint projects; its unique equipment is of crucial importance for the operation of modern detectors at facilities in Dubna and in other scientific centres cooperating with JINR, such as the NICA Project.

The Directorate of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research congratulates Belarusian colleagues and partners on the Independence Day and wishes them good health, happiness, well-being, and new professional achievements for the benefit of science and progress!
