New Book Acquisitions exhibition in S&T Library

News

From 5 to 28 November 2025, the JINR Science and Technology Library invites visitors to the New Book Acquisitions exhibition.

The exhibition features textbooks, monographs, anthologies, and popular science literature, including:

  • textbooks on mathematical modelling, systems engineering, and electrical power engineering;
  • monographs on particle physics and the memoirs of Boris V. Vasilyev, who worked at JINR for over 30 years;
  • proceedings from the 2025 international scientific conferences in which scientists from the Joint Institute participated;
  • a book by American scientists Peter Ward and Joseph Kirschvink, dedicated to modern research on the history of life on Earth;
  • a treatise by physicist Sergey P. Kapitsa on the theory of world population growth;
  • a book and album about Inom Bobojonov, one of the pioneering researchers in cosmic ray and high energy physics in Tajikistan;
  • a commemorative book marking the 270th anniversary of the Moscow State University, highlighting the key events of its history.
