Venue: JINR Universal Public Library (13/7, Blokhintsev str.).
Ivan Ruskov (Institute of Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), a senior researcher at the Sector for Research of Neutron-Nuclear Interactions of the Division of Nuclear Physics at FLNP JINR, will consider the “eternal” questions of the universe and worldview:
- Does the universe really exist or is it an illusion generated by our consciousness?
- To what extent do physical theories influence the formation of philosophical concepts?
- Is it worth to keep asking the main question of Marxist philosophy: “What comes first, matter or consciousness?”
- What is the role of physicists (and lyricists) in the new rapidly changing information space?
