The Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR starts a new season of seminars that are held in the hall of the JINR Scientists’ Club (6, Joliot-Curie street, left side) on Thursdays at 4:00 PM.

On 8 September, Andrey Pikelner (BLTP senior researcher) will make a presentation “Computer in the hands of a theorist”. Andrey will talk about Feynman diagrams: why are they needed and how to calculate them? He will also answer the questions: how to get a computer to help with calculations and what to do if standard instructions from textbooks are not enough?

There will be a small coffee break at 4:00 PM, which precedes the seminar. The report will start at 4:15 PM.
