Conference of young scientists begins in Alushta

The Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research holds the Conference of Young Scientists and Specialists from 8 to 15 June in Alushta. The Conference is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of JINR.

Leading scientists will give lectures on current scientific research and modern achievements obtained in the laboratories of the Institute. Young JINR scientists and specialists in their turn will present reports on the topics of their scientific research. Moreover, it is planned to hold discussions on the topics of lectures.

The programme of the Conference includes also a round table of young scientists with JINR Director Academician Grigory Trubnikov and JINR Scientific Leader Academician Victor Matveev. In addition, a meeting of young researchers with famous scientific communicators Georgiy Shakhgildyan, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Head of the Department of Scientific Communications at Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, and Andrey Seryakov, an employee of the Laboratory of Ultra-High Energy Physics of SPBU, a participant of the NA61/SHINE CERN collaboration, three-time Science Slam winner, host of the CERN public (https://vk.com/cernach), and a guide to the Large Hadron Collider.

Within the programme of the Conference, an online meeting with Chairman of the Dubna City Council of Deputies, Head of the JINR Social Infrastructure Management Office Andrey Tamonov will take place on 10 June at 7:00 PM. Follow the link to participate.
