Deep Learning in Computational Physics discussed in MLIT

News, 06 July 2022

Today, the 6th International Workshop on Deep Learning in Computational Physics (DLCP-2022) started. The workshop primarily focuses on the use of machine learning in particle astrophysics and high energy physics, but is not limited to this area.

Topics of interest are various applications of artificial neural networks to physical problems, as well as the development of new modern machine learning methods for analysing various scientific data, including big data.

Main topics:

  • Machine learning in particle astrophysics and high energy physics
  • Modern machine learning methods
  • Machine learning in natural sciences
  • Machine learning in education

Selected articles will be recommended for publication in the scientific journal “Numerical Methods and Programming” which is indexed in RSCI. The journal is included in the Higher Attestation Commission.

The three-day workshop is organized jointly by MLIT JINR and SINP MSU. DLCP-2022 is held in the Laboratory of Information Technologies and online.
