On 17 September 2020, at the 128th regular session of the Scientific Council of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, the title “Honorary Doctor of JINR” was awarded.
On the proposal of JINR Director Victor Anatolievich Matveev, the title was awarded to Ivan Wilhelm (Charles University, the Czech Republic), Michel Spiro (International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, France), and Itzhak Tserruya (Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel) to aknowledge their considerable contribution to development of science and training of young scientists.
