New trends in nuclear physics detectors

News, 22 October 2021

This will be the topic of the Workshop scheduled for 25 – 27 October 2021 in Warsaw, Poland.

The organizers of the Workshop are the Heavy Ion Laboratory, Warsaw University, the Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions of the Joint Institute, and Opava University.

The main goal of the Workshop is to gather together scientists and engineers working in fundamental physics areas with a common background in experimental nuclear techniques and detectors. The Workshop thus mainly focuses on the recent developments and the overview of the current progress in active target TPCs, solid-state (semiconductors, scintillators, etc.), and gaseous detectors (PPACs, TPCs, etc.) dedicated for application in low energy nuclear reactions with radioactive ion beams.

The programme includes oral talks and a poster session.
