Opening of exhibition “Science in comics: putting complicated things simple”

On 17 June, at 6:30 PM, the JINR Universal Public Library invites to the opening of the exhibition “Science in comics: putting complicated things simple”.

Speakers will talk about how to provide information on basic research correctly and scientifically credible using five pictures. Visitors will learn the particulars of the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems experiment on popular science visualisation of research. Five comics are about research conducted by DLNP JINR Sector of Molecular Genetics of the Cell under the leadership of Elena V. Kravchenko, Candidate of Biological Sciences.

The exhibition is a joint project of DLNP JINR and the Komikadze artel.

  • Mikhail Zarubin, junior researcher of the Sector of Molecular Genetics of the Cell of DLNP JINR;
  • Kirill Tarasov, bioinformatician of the Sector of Molecular Genetics of the Cell of DLNP JINR;
  • Lina Aleksunayte, scriptwriter of the Komikadze artel.
