Physical general relativity

We offer to your attention a preprint “Physical general relativity” E2-2022-57 issued by the JINR Publishing Department. The author is Ivanhoe Pestov.

The author formulates the Principle of General Covariance and restores the fundamental notions of electric and magnetic fields in the general covariant form, derives the general covariant Maxwell equations for these fields and recognises that the general covariant fundamental notion of interval is determined not by the Lorentz group, but by a general covariant bilateral symmetry. This directly leads from electromagnetism to a new understanding of the nature of time and space and expresses the essence of physical general relativity. Considering the geodesic equations, the author is able to derive the general covariant Newton equations and, hence, to restore the basic notions of velocity and momentum, force, work, and energy in the general covariant form. Thus, the author discloses relations of the physical general relativity with classical mechanics and gives a natural solution to the known problem of the zero Hamiltonian.
