Talking about nuclear physics of the future at NAUKA 0+

Today is the third day of XV All-Russian Scientific Festival “NAUKA 0+” in the Samara region. JINR is an official representative of the thematic week “Nuclear Physics”. Today, a joint online conference “Nuclear physics of the future” will be held by Samara National Research University named after Academician S. P. Korolev and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna).

What is in store for us in today’s broadcast?

Topical issues of the conference will be presented by JINR scientists:

  1. “Secrets and mysteries of neutrino physics” (Baikal-GVD). Mark Vladislavovich Shirchenko, a senior researcher at the Dzhelepov Laboratory of Nuclear Problems
  2. “Stability island of superheavy elements”. Alexander Vladimirovich Karpov, Scientific Secretary of the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions
  3. “Quark-gluon plasma. Facilities for its production in the Lab” (NICA). Sergey Alexandrovich Kostromin, Head of the Department of the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics

Each report will be followed by discussions and answers to questions of listeners.
