As it is commonly known, the current agreement between JINR and INFN, which was signed in 2011, expires this year in June. The new agreement is concluded for a period of 6 years and marks a qualitatively new stage in the development of cooperation with our Italian colleagues.

The agreement itself encompasses collaboration in the field of theoretical, experimental, astroparticle, nuclear and subnuclear physics and related technologies.

The activities and matters concerning mutual interests of organisations within the framework of the Agreement will be governed by a Standing Committee composed of three representatives from each organisation.
