Spring session of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiaries

On 27 March 2018, the session of the JINR Committee of Plenipotentiaries of the Governments of the JINR Member States will be held in the International Conference Hall. The session will be opened by the report of JINR Director Academician V.A. Matveev. JINR Chief Accountant S.N. Dotsenko will report on the JINR budget implementation in 2017. Deputy Head of the JINR Finance and Economy Office M.P. Vasiliev will deliver a report on a draft of the revised JINR budget for 2018. Participants of the session will consider the milestones of the meeting of the JINR Finance Committee of 23 – 24 March 2018 and proposals of the JINR Finance Committee on choosing an audit firm for the audit of the JINR financial activity of 2017.
In the frames of the session, LIT Director V.V. Korenkov will carry a report “Supercomputer is a promising project of development of the JINR basic facilities”. Moreover, presentation of the JINR Supercomputer will be held in the Laboratory of Information Technologies.
A report on progress of development of strategic plan for long-term JINR development will be delivered by JINR Deputy Director B.Yu. Sharkov. JINR Chief Scientific Secretary A.S. Sorin will report on elections of members of the JINR Scientific Council. Approvement of appointments of JINR Vice-Directors will be reported on by V.A. Matveev. The session will be concluded by a general discussion, adoption of decisions and signing of a protocol.
