The Falling Walls Lab conference

On 31 August 2018, at 2:00 PM, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, the Association of Young Scientists and Specialists of JINR and the Dubna State University will hold the Falling Walls Lab competition in Dubna for the second time. The competition will be held in the JINR Visit Centre (5 Molodezhnaya str.).

Falling Walls Lab gives an opportunity to young scientists and specialists to present their ideas, research projects and social initiatives to the world community, to introduce scientific concepts or propose innovative solutions to various problems and tasks set by virtually all fields of human activities. A project is supposed to be presented in three minutes using three slides. Working language of the competition is English.

The winner of the Falling Walls Lab Dubna will present his project in Berlin!

We would like to remind you that first time the Falling Walls Lab competition was held in Dubna was on 2 October 2017. The subject of the first competition was very extensive and covered a variety of topics: superconducting films, batteries, track membranes, flights to the Mars and damage to human DNA caused by them, the task of protecting astronauts from cosmic radiation was also presented. Azat Slyamov, a staff member of the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics, who presented his ideas and investigation in the fields of nanofractals became a winner of the past competition.
