News, 04 June 2018
Students from RSA have been participating in the Practice since 2007. Over the last 13 years, more than a thousand representatives of JINR Member States and Associate Member States have participated in the International Student Practice.
The first stage started in the JINR Visit Centre where participants of the Practice listened to the introductory lectures about JINR jointly with participants of the International training programme for decision-makers in science and international scientific cooperation JEMS – «JINR Expertise for Member States and Partner Countries», which was also launched today.
In addition, on the first day of the Practice RSA students had time to get acquianted with the Veksler and Baldin Laboratory of High Energy Physics and, in particular, visit the factory of superconducting magnets.
Traditionally the programme of the practice includes visits to the JINR basic facilities. Most of the time of the programme will be devoted to performing research projects in the laboratories of the Institute. The social part of the programme this year will feature excursion trips to Dmitrov and Moscow. The final day of the Practice, 22 June, will be dedicated to projects presentations by the students.
