The 6th International Training Programme JEMS was launched

On 16 April 2018, the 6th international training programme “JINR Expertise for Member States and Partner Countries” (JEMS) started. Representatives of the University of Dalat and the Dalat Centre for Nuclear Research (Vietnam), the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN, Italy), the Centre of Isotopes (Cuba), the North Ossetian State University and NUST MISIS (Russia) as well as representatives of the IThemba LABS research centre (RSA) take part in the 6th JEMS training programme.

Following the tradition, the training programme started in the JINR Visit Centre with the introductory lecture on JINR and a working lunch on behalf of the JINR Directorate. JEMS participants will have a rich programme, which provides detailed acquaintance with JINR and its activities, lectures and meetings with heads and specialists of the JINR Laboratories, visits to research facilities, and a round table with the JINR Directorate. The programme also comprises acquaintance with history of Dubna.

We are pleased to welcome our colleagues at JINR and hope sincerely that their participation in the training programme will contribute to enhancement of cooperation and launch of new collaborative projects.
